From side project to working product
WheelFriends was born from a simple idea — that empty car seats are wasted potential. It is a young platform: the product works end to end, and the community is still growing route by route. Every shared ride makes the road a little friendlier, a little greener, and a lot more fun.
To become the ridesharing platform people actually trust
We want every trip to be affordable, safe and enjoyable. We're starting in Europe and will grow where there are enough drivers and passengers to make rides genuinely findable — a marketplace nobody can get a ride from helps no one.

- Searching rides and booking a seat, on any device, in nine languages
- Verified profiles, ratings and reviews after every completed trip
- In-app messaging between driver and passenger
- Ride alerts and passenger ride requests when a route has no seats yet
- The iPhone and Android apps, plus the full site in any mobile browser

- Card payments — passengers currently pay the driver directly, usually in cash
- Driver insurance verification

No Booking Fees
We don't take a commission on ride payments. The price you agree with a driver is the price you pay — we fund the platform through optional ad-free upgrades.
