Your safety is our top priority. Learn how to stay safe on every ride.
Essential guidelines for safe driving
Always maintain safe following distance, check mirrors regularly, and anticipate other drivers' actions. Avoid distractions like phone use while driving.
Keep your vehicle in top condition — check tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels before every trip. A well-maintained car is a safe car.
Adjust your speed and driving style for rain, snow, or fog. Leave extra braking distance and use headlights in poor visibility.
Never drive when tired. Take a break every 2 hours on long trips. If you feel drowsy, pull over safely.
Stay safe as a passenger on every trip
Always check the driver's name, photo, car details, and license plate before getting in. Look for the verified badge.
Share your ride details with a trusted friend or family member. Use our built-in trip sharing feature.
Keep emergency contacts saved and easily accessible. Set up your emergency contacts in your profile settings.
If something feels wrong, don't get in the car. Cancel the ride and report any concerns.

When many passengers are searching for a route with few available rides, we show a "High demand" indicator and suggest a higher price to drivers posting new rides. This helps attract more drivers to popular routes, increasing ride availability for everyone. Surge multipliers range from 1.2x to 2.0x and are based on real-time search volume vs. available rides in the last 2 hours.
